Resetting 2006 honda odyssey radio code3/20/2024 Screen will give choices- hit "unit check" then "Navi ECU" and there will be the serial number you need in order to get code. This should restore the radio to normal functioning. Use this number to obtain the code from a Honda dealership or online service, then enter it using the preset buttons on the radio. When screen says enter code push the map,menu,cancel buttons all together at same time for about 10 seconds. To restore the radio code for a 2006 Honda Accord, you will need the serial number from the radio or the owner’s manual. Thank God for you tube- here is what you do if your navi needs code. Called Honda and they were no help (said I needed to locate the serial # first which was hard to find). I reconnected it and lo and behold the dvd is working again yeah! I had to reenter the radio code which I had BUT THEN.new problem.now the Navi needed a code (which I didn't have). Turn on the device while holding the presets. ![]() It should read 'COde.' If it does not, pull the backup fuse for a minute and try again. I left the negative side disconnected for about an hour. For all other models, you can use the following steps. I went to disconnect the battery and for the life of me could only disconnect the negative side. Honda wanted to charge me a diagnostic fee so I decided to do research. On my 2000 Ody it was on a sticker in the compartment below the radio. So thankful for these boards! I had a battery replaced and when I left the shop the radio wasn't working. Where is the radio code on the 2006 Ody I did not get a card with my code when I bought the vehicle.
